Several locations across Cheshire West and Chester will host Remembrance events on Sunday, 8 November 2026. In Hartford, activities will commence at Hartford Village Hall at 9:40am, proceeding to St Johns Church for a wreath-laying ceremony at 11am. A separate event at Green Field, Hartford, will feature a short wreath-laying at a war memorial at 11am on Wednesday, 11 November 2026.
In Moulton, a procession will begin from Summerfield Drive/Main Road to St Stephens Church at 9:45am on Sunday, 8 November, followed by a service and a wreath-laying at the Cenotaph at 10:45am. Refreshments will be available afterwards at The Royal British Legion.
Northwich Town Council is organising a parade at Crum Hill at 9:30am on Sunday, 8 November, before a 10am service at St Helens Church. The Act of Remembrance will take place at the Cenotaph at 10:45am, followed by a parade and refreshments at Memorial Court.
Tarporley High Street will see a parade from Burton Square to St Helens Church, concluding with a wreath-laying at the war memorial and a service, starting at 10:25am on Sunday, 8 November.
Services are also scheduled for Sunday, 8 November in Tattenhall, with a 10am service at St Albans Church and the Act of Remembrance at the Memorial at 11am. In Upton by Chester, a parade will start at 9:30am from the steps of Holy Ascension Church, followed by a 10am service and a wreath-laying at the memorial at 11am.
Chester Cathedral will host multiple events on Sunday, 8 November, including a parade inbound to the city centre at 9:30am, a service at 10:15am, and the Act of Remembrance at the Cathedral Gardens at 10:55am. An Act of Remembrance will also take place at Chester Cathedral Gardens on Wednesday, 11 November at 10:50am.
Further events include a service at Antrobus St Marks Church at 10:30am on Sunday, 8 November, featuring a traditional act of remembrance. In Barnton, a short memorial service and reading of the roll of honour will take place at the Barnton War Memorial, Townfield Lane, at 10:45am on Sunday, 8 November, culminating in a minute's silence at 11am.
