A Trafford hub is providing specialist assistance to families facing difficulties with their energy bills following recent cost increases.
The Stretford Community Hub, funded by Trafford Council, is collaborating with Citizens Advice Trafford to host the Big Energy Tuesday event this Tuesday, 10 November. The event aims to support residents grappling with escalating energy expenses.
From 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, the hub will offer advice sessions covering boilers, debt management, payment options, smart meters, and direct debits. Representatives from organisations including British Gas, Energyworks, CARITAS, L&Q, United Utilities, Citizens Advice Energy Champions, and the Community Hub energy support team will be present to provide assistance.
