NHS teams are invited to showcase their outstanding work and celebrate achievements that are making a difference to patients and communities as part of a national awards programme run by NHS England. Staff and teams across Cheshire and Merseyside are urged to highlight their contributions by entering the awards.
The awards recognise individuals, teams, and partnerships across the NHS and the wider health and care system for their efforts in areas such as improving patient experience, tackling health inequalities, embracing digital innovation, and transforming local services. The initiative aims to shine a light on collaborative efforts and innovative ideas that enhance health and care outcomes.
This programme also serves as a platform for teams to share their learning and inspire others with approaches that could be adopted or adapted nationally. Entries are free and open to all NHS organisations and their partners across England.
The deadline for submissions is 12pm on Thursday, 17 December 2026. Regional finalists will be announced in March 2027, with the national winners revealed at a ceremony at Manchester Central on Wednesday, 16 June 2027.
