WaterBear Music College, a popular music-focused institution with campuses in Sheffield and Brighton, visited Aquinas College on 7th October 2026. They delivered a presentation on the music industry and potential careers to students.
The college, which offers degrees up to Masters level accredited by Falmouth University, presented to all Lower 6th Music BTEC students. Music A Level and Music Technology students were also invited to attend.
The presentation was described as interesting and relevant, particularly for Music BTEC students who are studying a full unit on the development of the music industry. Students engaged well with the content, and the college staff were impressed by the students’ questions.
One-to-one interactions following the presentation were noted as particularly useful for students who had not yet decided on their post-Aquinas options. WaterBear Music College is now a popular choice on UCAS forms for Upper Sixth BTEC Music students seeking practical popular music degrees.
